RSVP language for cruise wedding in port

Hey everyone! Im trying to come up with something cute for the RSVP wording. We need 3 options- attending and not sailing, attending and sailing, and not attending. Anyone have any ideas?

All aboard

 

It's a shore thing but we are not sailing

 

Sorry we are all tide up

Thanks so much!  We ended up doing:

 

We will sea you for the cruise!

Shore thing, but we can't sail.

Sorry, we must wave the invite.

Love this - its nice to tie a bit of the cruise lingo into the invites

I am having an issue with wording because carnival is only allowing us to have a amall # of people come on for the wedding and then get off before we sail. We are inviting alot of people in hopes that most will cruise with us, but I am nervous with how we word the newsletter we are sending out in place of an invitation because I dont want more then our allowed # of people thinking they can come for just the wedding and leave, and then we end up having to turn people down. Any suggestions?

We are on Carnival as well. My fiance and I are not giving the option of attending the wedding and not sailing to the masses. We have preselected the people( My grandmother, great aunt, his aunts, etc.) we will allow to attend our wedding but not cruise. So on our invitations we are not even adding the option. Those individuals that will be attending but not cruising already know who they are. This way we won't have 100 people trying to attend and not cruise.

It's good to hear I'm not alone, how did you word your invitations? I was thinking of sending out a newsletter explaining everything now which is about 11 months from the wedding. I feel like I have to be careful with how I work it because I don't want anyone showing up in Baltimore the day of thinking they can come to the wedding. We are also planning on just the bridal party and close family to come but not cruise since they will be taking up the amount allowed.

I have not made my invitations yet. Basically we are verbally telling our VIP's they may attend our wedding without getting on the boat. So most people don't even know that option is available. And further more guests can't get on the boat if they are not on our guest list.

I hit submit too soon. We put all of our information on our wedding website. It spells everything out. And on our STD it forwards people to our website. If you inbox me I can forward you our web address.
