Night Activities at Dreams?

Just wanted to be sure it was clear that there is not a disco at Dreams, and yes the activities that Tammy talked about are rotated through. I don't know if they are the same on the same nights each week (I can't remember) but I'm sure Mariana or Yessica would know.

They do have many activities at Dreams. To be honest, the night of our wedding we were so exhausted (or should I say I was so plowed) that we went back up to the room. Most brides will be sleepy and will want to go to bed. Dreams in PV had a sports bar that was open till 2 am that also had dancing. It was almost like a mini club with tvs for the men. I would suggest something like that for those who want to stay out.

That was one thing we loved about Dreams on our site visit, they give you a daily schedule of activities under your door every night for the next day. A few folks said that the bus into town was alright but they leave pretty late (10, I think)? We just cabbed it downtown instead.

Unfortunately, the lobby bar is the only thing open after 8 at night so we knew it wouldn't be good for our group of 100+ guests. It's kinda small and gets crowded quickly. They had a bonfire almost everynight I believe on the terrace outside of the lobby bar. One night they had a live band, another was casino themed, and one time they had some sort of simulated golf game up on a huge screen. That was all that we saw. I wish Barracuda would've stayed open later! It's the little tiki bar on the beach with swings for barstools!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
