Groom and Groomsmen attire... HELP!

Recommended Posts

Oh I love it!! It's going to be beautiful!! I never thought about having the best man wear a different tie!! That's a good idea!!! My wedding is going to be shoeless while on the beach... nothing is worse then wearing socks and getting sand inside the shoes! lol
I am definitely doing the barefoot shoe for the females. IDK about the men.

Chelsea, where did you find the linen pants & vest in the picture?  It looks great!!
We actually got them at Men's Warehouse! And the best part is I got 50% off them and the groomsmen too! They're Calvin Klein khaki linen suits - I think they have them on their site! I love them, my fi said they're very light weight and will keep them cool. I'm not too worried about the wrinkling - it's a beach wedding so I would imagine no material would stay wrinkle free!

Good to hear! Nice suits by the way! I Attented my nephews wedding like 2 months ago, and I remember them having nice suits too! I was a little bit involved in the wedding, this part in particular. The nice thing was that my uncle (his father) had actually given like a carte blanche to him, to get him and the groomsmen whatever they wanted. He wanted them to look perfect so they got to work. Ended up with really nice suits and as a special present, they picked out matching breitling watches and ordered them at Chrono24, which later arrived. I have to say, they looked amazing! It's a subtle detail, but people notice it and it makes it look like you've really made an effort.

But I know how difficult it can pe to prepare the whole lot, and I can imagine that's a huge thing you can stripe off from the checklist!

Love those dresses!! So pretty!! I think you have the right idea! That will look great! My fiancé is wearing khaki linen pants, white shirt (sleeves rolled) ivory tie and matching khaki vest, belt and boat shoes. Groomsmen are wearing same thing but with a coral tie and best man has a turquoise tie. Here is my fi: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/content/type/61/id/213811/width/200/height/400 My girls are wearing this dress:http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/content/type/61/id/213810/width/200/height/400

Thanks for the picture! We are getting married in the Riviera Maya in May and I have been stressing over the men's attire. We want linen suits and just checked out this exact suit at Men's Warehouse yesterday. My only concern is that I noticed a lined pattern on the back of the vest and we were planning on having the groomsmen wear vests and no jacket. Do you think this will look strange? Or be noticeable in pictures? Also, did you get the buy one, get the other for free deal? Thanks!

FYI I was able to purchase two different suits from Jos A Banks for my fiancé for less than $100 each. I couldn't decide since I purchased online so I got both and we are going to return one. They offer a Tropical Blend suit in a few tan colors as well as a Poplin suit in a few tan colors. May be something you girls want to look into, cost was less than renting it. Plus you can purchase online and return in store. I can post pics once he tries them on.

Hi girls!

I need help with my Fiance's and his groomsmen attire. We are getting married 10.11.14 in Punta Cana and are having a formal wedding in a ballroom. They want to rent tuxes but I don't want the rental cost to be too high given that we will be out of the country for a few days. Any ideas where I can look?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
