Positive Thoughts…

Recommended Posts

So, I heard there was a hurricane in the vicinity of Mexico. I held my breath while I checked weather.com. The good news is that by the time the hurricane hits southern Baja on Thursday, it will not longer be a hurricane. The bad news is that it will be rain. The forecast for my wedding day is as follows:

High 93/Low 72 ------- 60% Chance of Thunder Storms

60%huh.gif?!!!!

So, Iâ€ve been in Cabo before when it has rained and it was usually light sprinkling that lasted about 15 minutes and then went away for an hour before coming back. Iâ€m hoping that if rain comes at all, that this is what it will be like. But THUNDERSTORMS is such a stong compound word!!!

My biggest worry is the ceremony which will be out on a beach. My reception is under a paplpa. The whole reason I picked Cabo Surf is because I love the seculded beach!

So anyway, Ladies, please give me positive thoughts for next weekend!

Dont worry Amber, everything will be perfect! When I was at PV for our site visit this september the weather channel forecast was horrible, all week with thunderstorms and rain over 60% , at the end we only had one morning with rain and thunders ending before noon... so dont worry, keep your positive attitude and enjoy your wedding at max!!!

Good Luck, I'lll keep my fingers crossed and sending positive toughts for you in Cabo!!

I just looked at the hurricane path and KIKO is not slated to become a hurricane until tonight. I think that there may be some rain in southern baja on Monday and Tue. But I think that it will be gone by the 28th. You also have to remember that this time of the year it almost always rains every afternoon in southern Baja... the catch is that it mostly only rains in the mountains.

GOOD luck! I really do not thing there is going to be a problem.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
