I want to reiterate what Courtney said, with sand in the frame its going to be sooooo heavy. So be careful about that. Also, we brought our vase home with the sand in it and let me tell you it does not look as pretty anymore as it did after the ceremony, so please keep that in mind it will shake up a lot and our just all mixed together. We still love it, but I just want you to know that it will not stay that way in the frame and to keep that in mind.

So I am still confused...do I just buy a shadow box and then put another frame inside of the shadow box or do I just glue/tape the pics I want to the back of the shadow box and then fill the bottom w/ sand?

I think it would look cool to pour it into the frame and then have that sitting at like the guest book table or something during the night...

So Basically the guy avoided talking about price so I assume they are expensive. I went to AC Moore today. They have photo collages on sale. I got a 10 x 10 floating photography display for 19.99. When I find my camera charger I will post a picture.

It has three sections and the lid slides off. The inside layer is less than 1/2" so it will not take long to fill and I can use the front section for an engagement picture and the back section for a wedding picture when we get them. AC Moore has a coupon floating around the internet for 50% off any item tomorrow. I'm using mine for something else so I bought the frame today.

Thats rude!!

Well What I ended up doing because I couldnt find it anywhere was I went to Michaels and I got a shadow bow with a black frame around it. The I am getting another frame (obviously smaller) and I and gluing this "floating" frame the the middle of the shadow box and fill it all with sand. I will post pics of everything when Im done, its kinda hard to explain.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
