If I had to recreate this myself this is what I would do. Buy either a shadow box or a frame that is a little thicker, score the top of the back to the frame so it will bend back, then I would glue the back to the frame at the sides and the bottomm leaving the top 1/3 open for access. Then I would buy a similiar frame and glue that to the front (glass) of the modified frame. I too can't find a frame like what you have found all I could find were some very fancy DYI. Good luck.

Thank you Becky for the website and everyones help with it, you think it would be easier to find.

Here are the directions for this picture, sounds a little confusing. I was also going to go to a local framing company and ask them how much it is for them to make me one.... If its alot, I will just make my FI do it :o)

First I bought 4 8x10 frames and 8 metal "L" fasteners. The first thing we did was put the pictures in and attach the frames at the top and bottom. I bought a square piece of decorative wood from Michaels and painted that black for the base. Hot glue the frames to the base. Then I cut a foam square to fit inside the top of the frames and cut the slit throught it for the cards. I cut a piece of cardboard the same size and cut a slit in that too. Glue the foam to the cardboard. Then cover the foam with material. This was completely trial and error. I covered it, then pulled excess through the slit so that it would cover the inside of the slit. I then cut that so that we could pull it back and tape underneath. You can either use a glue gun or clear duct tape. I took those plastic hooks (you can get them in target) and place them upside down on each of the backs of the 4 frames so that when you place the material covered foam in the box it doesn't fall in. You can modify this for whatever works for you! Good luck

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
