CourtneyTX - Yes, they do charge for outside photography vendor. I am using Mischa Earle and I think they are charging me a $250 fee. Each resort will be different though on what vendors they allow.I saw that you live in Arlington...I grew up in Arlington and went to Martin High School. Are you orginally from there?

Thanks for the heads up. Have you been to the Grand in Jamaica? We got engaged at the Grand in Mexico 2 weeks ago, it was beautiful!!
I'm originally from Fort Worth, moved to Arlington about 10 years ago. I live about 5 minutes from Martin

Hey all!
I am getting married on Dec. 13, 2014. I was just curious who you used for booking your group travel agent, destinationweddings.com, etc.
Right now I have a travel agent, but am not sure if I'm getting the best rates for the group. It is $521 for 3 nights at the Suites and $699 for 3 nights at the Grand. Would love to hear who you are using and if there are better rates out there!
Thanks so much and looking forward to hearing about everyone's wedding!

Hey there!
I am getting married at Iberostar Suites December 2014, and I was just curious who you all are working through to secure your room blocks and such. I've spoken with different travel agents, but just want to provide the best option for guests.
Thanks so much!!!

EM8327 -
I have read alot of bad reviews on destinationweddings.com....however there are also good reviews..
I contacted Wright Travel Agency through this website, I read a LOT of good reviews on them. I am also waiting to hear back from a local TA from my hometown to see what kind of rates she comes up with. I will PM you with the rates I received from Wright. What are your deciding factors on which resort you might choose? I was originally wanting The Grand, but now am considering the Suites if I can get better deals, ect.

No, we've gone with the Grand only. We wanted an adults only resort.
Thats what I originally had my heart set on too....It's my wedding AND a vacation..I definitely would like it to be in an adults-only atmosphere--as I know some of my guests feel that way too....I'm just going to have to quit worrying so much and make a decision and STICK WITH IT!!
