    Hi everyone at BDW!!

I love forums and I can see this one will be keeping me up til all hours. My fiance and I knew we wouldn't be having a traditional type of wedding and a destination wedding just seemed perfect, plus all our friends really wanted us to do it too! We are looking into Costa Rica, at the all inclusive RIU hotels and the Hilton. I do have a lot of questions and I hope I'll have them answered by looking through this forum. I'm super excited for all the DIY projects looking at the wonderful ideas on here!!

A quick question... for the brides who have walked down the aisle already, did you go see the resort/venue first before you signed a contract with them?? I'm really struggling with that, on the one hand I feel like I'll be ok not seeing it, but on the other hand I want to get a good feel for the resort, quality of food/service. I imagine my guests will be staying longer than just the weekend and I really want to make sure everyone has a good time,I'm estimating about 75 guests. I've already gotten quotes back for some locations but at earliest I won't be able to go for another month... please help!!

    Many thanks!

Just wanted to say :welcome: I'm not much help with your location or your question . . . Sorry I am getting married in St. Lucia at Sandals... I have never been to either... I'm fine with that.. I figured they have done a million weddings so I'll be ok. Have you been able to figure out if you will get to do a sight visit..
