Have you looked into the apps that people download onto their phones? There are several out there that pretty much link all of the pictures taken by guests onto their own "feed" like instagram, facebook, etc...and it all goes under your wedding so you see them all together. Some of them even let you download them all at once so you can keep all the pics taken from many different guests' POVs.

I haven't seen any of that kind of app that links them from different places to one album.  Can you tell me what apps those might be?

We have seen the ones you can have people load the app you pick and then post all of their pictures to that location.  However, we are assuming using the app (assuming they download the app before they go) will still make their phones access the internet and use data to load the pictures while in Mexico and that would cost them big $.

For starters, you can use a "code" to have all pictures posted to Instagram under a certain hashtag appear in your own account. You can see how here: http://apracticalwedding.com/2013/01/crowdsource-wedding-photos-instagram/

Here are some of the apps that I have looked at:

The data $ is a concern of mine too. I was thinking of including in my OOT a card saying something along the lines of "if you'd like to include any pics you take during your stay within ours, please use this (app) and post pictures upon your return to the states. looking forward to see the memories and moments you captured!"

Still looking for cheap disposable cameras. Afraid to ask people to use their phones and get stuck with extra charges, plus we wanted to put the cameras in the OOT bags. If I find a cheaper place , their shipping is too expensive. Anyone have any luck?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
