to make matters worse...

My poor cat almost died last night... She is highly, highly allergic to fleas, one even gets near her and she loses all her hair and gets sick. So, Amos and I went to the pet store and got some cat shampoo- not even flea shampoo just shampoo to get her clean so she didn't feel itchy. After her bath, she went totally limp, wouldn't move at all, she couldn't even hold her head up. Amos had her wrappen in a towel in her arms. He even looked at me at one point and said "she just died"

Well, off to the emergency vet we go. Of course the first thing he said when we walked in was what did you use, he needed to know the main ingredient. So I get in the car and fly back to my house to get the shampoo, which get this has no ingredients on it!!!!

Well, she spent the night there and she is doing much better. Whatever was in that darn shampoo, got into her bloodstream and they said it was shutting down her central nervous system!

So, after another late night last night, I am trying to get some work finally done...

So, if bad things happen in threes I got one more ahead of me! fencing.gif

Wow, Shel, you really are having one of those weeks. I am glad your cat is doing better - losing a pet is one of the hardest things to do! So is postponing a wedding! I am glad to hear you are ready to get back to planning as well. Let us know if you need help. Like the girls said in the other thread - Philly isn't that far...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
