Hello everyone,

 

My fiance and I have been referring to this website constantly since we started thinking about doing a destination wedding. So tonight I finally decided to join. We are planning a traditional Sikh wedding at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico for November 2013. We do not have a lot of time and I am already starting to feel overwhelmed (in a good way). We are currently working with our travel agent to secure our dates and locations with the resort. Hopefully we will have things settled next week and then the real planning can begin. 

 

I have a question for those of you that are already well into your planning stage - can someone share what their "free wedding website" from Moon Palace looks like? I am in the middle of trying to do save the date cards and am debating if I should get on the ball with starting my own wedding website through one of the many free options on the net, or wait until we get our complimentary one from the resort? I just have no idea what that even looks like and if it is something we will want to use. Is it something maintained by us, or by the resort? Is it ad-free? How customizable is it? So many questions! Any information that anyone can share would be most appreciated. 

 

I also look forward to connecting with other Moon Palace brides for this fall. We went to visit the resort in May of this year, so if anyone has questions about what things actually look like etc. please feel free to ask. :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
