I want to buy cards with our picture on it but haven't had time nor money to do so. I do think you have a year to send out the TY cards.

You just send it to people who gave you gifts right? or should I also send it to the people that came to the wedding (we had 19 people there)?
I would definitely send gifts to the people that came to the wedding. Those people got a short novel in their TY note from me :) That really is the best gift after all.

Girl you better start thinking like a wife and spend that money! (just kidding) But you can use your thank you photo and design any kind of card you want too. They also have those thank you photo holder thingies if you wanted to insert a real photo. Anyhoo, I know you'll get it done, just thought I'd share :o)

I did the wedding ones, but we have to finish the reception ones! Our reception was on August 4th, and my MIL keeps bugging me about them! Apparently another neighbor never sent them, and the whole 'hood still talks about it to this day! I'm sending them, LADY!!!!

Last night we made real progress because I'm making DH write all the ones to "his" people! I think he did about 20 or so. Of course, I gave him a template, and he combined the sentences and obviously doesn't know what a period is, but hey, THEY'RE DONE (like I should talk with a run-on sentence like this one!)!!! Also, people will realize it's his handwriting and not think it was the teacher in the family!!!! smile123.gif

We had about 270 people at the reception, and I think we have about 60 left to do. I ordered them from Vistaprint. They have a picture collage on the front, and on the back it says "Thank you for sharing in our celebration" (or something like that)- so there isn't a ton of room to write anyway!!!

I still have a stack too, glad to hear its a year because I was told two months. I got most out in two months, but today is my 3 month anniversary and I still have about 10 to send out and I don't want to make people mad so the baby won't get cool presents you know!!! just kidding...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
