That's cool, I'm familiar with Clifton. I work in Long Island city in Queens by the 59th street bridge. Where are you getting married??

We are getting married at NOW Sapphire in Riviera Maya. It was not my 1st choice, but my FI LOVED this resort so I figured let me give him this 1 thing and everything else with the wedding is MINE!!!! I see you are getting married at Moon Palace and I've seen pics of weddings there on this site and the resort looks AWESOME, lucky you!!!!

Don't take it so seriously and do a little bit at a time and it will all come together. I'm also a wedding planner so I know what brides go through but after the weddings I always do a follow-up lunch with my brides and we laugh hysterically at all the bridezilla moments that were uncalled for or we laugh at how things they stressed over guests didn't even notice!!!

It will all come together and trust your coordinators at the resorts, they do LOTS of weddings per week and they will be your greatest support system!

My FI meet at NY Penn Station...lol...we were commuters who took the same train going and coming and no lie everyday for 2 years my FI would say good morning to me and I was so rude to him, but every morning I got a good morning....so 1 day the trains were delayed and I saw him starring at me (wierdo!) and I said what are you looking at (with attitude of course) and then I made him come over to me and I said to him I've seen you everyday for 2 yrs so I guess I need to know your name....and the rest was history.

Everyone on the train wants us to have a ceremony on the train.....yeah that's not going to happen!!! LOL

How did you and your FI meet????

Jenn963 that is actually a good idea to take pics at the train station, now that I can do....you are my little angel today!!!

My FI and I look like we are young, but we are OLD and don't plan to have kids. There is no way at my age I can imagine chasing after a baby....the dog is enough!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
