Vancouver is surprisingly having a heat wave so we had a lot of sun during the Canada Day weekend.

 

For the US brides, what are everyone's plans for July 4th?

A little BDW history- we used to call threads like this the "shout box" because the forum originally had a little chat room that we could "shout" in. When that feature was removed with a forum upgrade, we created shout box threads to keep the daily chit chat going. 6 years later I'm still super close with all the girls I originally use to chat with. Keep plugging away- who knows, you might end up making some really good friends in the process!

We did some yard work early this morning then it was off to work for both of us!!  He's a pharmacist in the hospital & I am a funeral director... unfortunately, our jobs take no holidays!!  But I must say, we got a lot accomplished in the yard! :)

 

Hope everyone is enjoying the 4th!!

We live in an apartment so no yard work for us! So Serena Williams lost to Sabine Lisicki in Wimbledon...23rd seed. Can't believe it! So the finals is 23rd seed against 15th seed. Crazy

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
