I agree I feel like I should be doing everything  now!  but I dont even have final numbers yet, so starting on thinks like favors and welcome packages etc is getting way ahead of myself!  But I am starting to organize things that I want to go!!  So its a start at least

Rachel - I wish I could've tried to make my own real touch flower bouquets but I'm not the craftiest of people. I got mine from Bloom Bridal, their work really looks amazing.  I'll post a few pictures when they arrive.  I think the dress was the hardest part for me, so don't worry, at least your wedding isn't until June.  You've got plenty of time still girl.  :relief:

How are people handing out their OOT bags?  Before the wedding, on check-in, having the resort do it?  I saw a quote on our resort's wedding coordination spreadsheet and they said they'd charge $20 per room to hand out items for us.  There's got to be a mistake there.  If that's the case, we'll just go visit everyone's room ourselves.

I am not crafty either... i am not even going to attempt to make my own bouquets LOL I have seen bloom bridal's photos, they do exquisite work!

We will likely hand out the OOT during our "Welcome" dinner/cocktail hour (which is the night the majority of my guests arrive). $20 seems really high! Our resort is only $3/room. If it were $20, i think i would definitely just hand them out in person, thats just crazy!

Will you be bringing your welcome packages and giving it to them at the resort?  I am torn about this because depending on the amount of guests, I don't know if I'll have enough room.  Especially since we're bringing a lot of decorations with us.

:s I am planning to try and make my own bouquets.  At my resort it will costs us $30 per bridesmaid!  Also I was going to use their bouquets part of the reception décor after.

I should probably try and see if I can even do it! Lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
