Happy birthday!!! Its good to have crazy fiances that will splurge on us, not on themselves. LOL Enjoy!

Your wedding is so close, I would be a nervous wreck when so close to my wedding. Seems like you have a bunch attending, so much fun.

Thank you Thank you. He's a nut bar. I was starting to expect something was up, but only within the last week. Apparently he's been working on this car for almost a month!

There's about 35 people coming for my wedding. I think it's a solid group. I'll be able to spend time with everyone, no one will feel left out, but still enough people to give it the wedding feel. And I can hang out with a different group every day! Haha.

Different group? No you guys can just hijack a pool and pool bar and make it your own, it would be Mel's (is that your name) wedding bar.

Cardero's was really great! In Saskatoon, I would recommend Izumi - it has the most amazing sushi in Saskatoon! And also Ding Dong for vietnamese - so good.

This month is so busy with events! Shopping trip this coming weekend, work events, dress fittings (Mine and my girls) and Bachelorette at the end of the month. It;s crazy! And then I'll have two months to finish my planning. Ahhhh!

Congrats on the 1st car! What a sweet fiance! What are you doing for your bachelorette party?

Anybody have any tips on how they are getting everything down to their resorts? Are any of you mailing boxes? Or are you just packing into suitcases? Or paying for extra luggage? What's the plan?!

I really need to take pictures of my projects and post those.... that should boost my numbers.... It's just getting around to actually taking the pictures!! I feel like I'm close now and yet.... still so far away. The only template I think I need now is Survival kit toppers.

Starting a planning thread is a good idea - I should do that! I am getting married on November 13 - very close to your date! What are you working on right now? Any wedding crafts?

I don't know all the details, but it's not going to be wild and crazy. A little more low key. We're going pole-dancing (okay, maybe not totally low-key) and then dinner and then dancing? Something to that effect. With lots of booze. Haha.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
