Same here! Maybe its different when you dont have kids, but ours will be as much as a family holiday with the 3 of us as a "honeymoon". Whats different for us from any other holiday is that its the Caribeean, we are going away for longer and travelling further than we would for any random holiday.

Thats why I thought Orlando would be a good idea, but as I said, our little man didnt seem very interested but he is extremely excited about going to where we have booked.

Sorry, dont know how to shrink the pic. Just copied it, better put in the reference, from dhgate.com. Dont know if I'll order from there. But looking for a dress in this type of style. What do you ladies think??

It's beautiful! I love, love, love the details on the bodice... and how it just flows down from there!

haha yeah, I am huge on sentimentality. Actually we both are... so we are keeping our dating anniversary as our wedding anniversary. Well, or so we will celebrate it as. We wanted to get married on the 18th, but as luck would have it, flights are not working out that way. At least, cheaper, do-able flights are not working out that way. So we will be getting married on the 17th, but from every year onwards, we will be celebrating it as the 18th and will ask our guests to "pretend" it is the 18th on the day we get married haha.

Nope, we knew it on the night we got engaged that was the plan. The day was so stunningly perfect and we were having the most amazing time, there was never another option. Had the prices come back and been outrageously expensive/ the date (give or take a day) was impossible, than we would have changed it. But lady luck is on our side :)

Thank you! Might not go for this one though, but will def be a similar style. I do know this style is flattering for my figure and dont want too much on the skirt. And I do like that is has a bit of a sleeve!

Have you looked at Universal instead? It might appeal to his age a bit more, and there's nothing stopping you from doing both lol.

So its meant to be then!

I dont know how many venues we were looking at here at home before we decided on our "secret/eloping". Of ALL the places there was only one place we both wanted and it was ridiculous expensive so we scrapped that plan.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
