Getting Married on Golden Princess - Oct. 13th, 2013

Everything is planned and ready just waiting for the date.  But for those whom have already gotten married on a cruise.  Do you have any tips or wonderful suggestions that you have for us?  I have 5 bridesmaid and 5 groomsmen...  We are having the following:




Bridal Party Processional:            “Wedding March†from Lohengrin

Bridal Processional Music:          “Canon in D†(Pachelbel)

Ceremony Music:                            Francisque (Grandjany)

Recessional Music:                         TBA

Live Music:                                         Pianist Requested

Type of Vows:                                   Custom Vows provided by Couple

Ceremony:                                         Custom Ceremony provided by Couple

Ring Exchange:                                 Double

Processional Order:                        TBA




  • Round Bridal Bouquet of one dozen Yellow Roses, tied with white ribbon
  • Matching yellow boutonniere for the Groom
  • Couple to provide silk flowers for Bridal Party




  • Three Tiered Custom Cake Requested
  • Red Velvet Cake Flavor, Fondant over Marzipan Frosting
  • Cake designed as per photography, with yellow anchors (without flowers)




  • 6:00PM- 7:30PM Dinner in Dining Room (Reservation to be made onboard on Embarkation Day)
  • 7:30PM – 9:30PM Reception in Skywalkers
  • Petit Fours, dessert reception with Open Bar ( ___ guests) instead of dinner since we already have that and it is paid for.
  • Cake to be served at Reception
  • Chocolate Bride and Groom Strawberries ( ___guests)





  • Pianist Requested for Wedding Ceremony
  • DJ Requested for Reception (Couple to provide List of Songs)
  • Additional microphone requested for Reception




  • Chapel Reserved from 8:00PM – 9:00PM on Saturday, October 12, 2013
  • Couple will conduct own Rehearsal




  • One Hour of Photography and Videography included in Package
  • Additional Photography Requested must be confirmed with Photographer onboard (Ship will be made aware prior to sail date that additional photography is needed)
  • All photography packages to be purchased onboard

I'm still in the early planning stages and not getting married on Princess, but I wanted to say Congratulations and welcome to the forum!
