Hi everyone! I am super new to this website but it has a ton of helpful information! I m planning to get married in May 2014 at Riu Palace Riviera Maya. I'm trying to get a head start on everything. I have a good idea of what I would like to do, but I'm a little confused about the reception part. I scheduled the wedding for 5pm on the beach and then ideally I would like to go straight to the reception and have that on the beach as well. The wedding planner said I could have a music system set up on the beach, but I would like my guests to be able to dance. Did anyone have their reception on the beach? And if so were your guests able to get up and dance? Thanks! :)

This is such a stressful process because I am not able to see anything before hand :( I was just wondering if you decided on your reception location yet? I am trying to decide if I want a private reception or semi-private. Just trying to get feedback from other brides! Thanks Liz P.s. Congrats on your upcoming wedding :)

Yay! I'm sure I will see you there! I have been in school and just got out for the break so I plan to start getting more organized. I am going to have my reception on the beach. I don't think many people do that, but I really wanted to! It's a little extra. It's $40 a person and a beach location fee also. Congrats on your wedding!! If you have any more questions let me know! I have some price lists and things

 I said that wrong lol sorry! Its $70 per person and you have to have at least 40 people

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
