Anybody have any info on the photographers. I have emailed them (photopro) and gotten the price lists but i'm wondering if going with an offsite vendor is a better idea. the packages from photopro seem expensive and to be honest I don't want all the wedding albums (I want to make them myself back home) I would rather just get all the pictures on a cd and deal with it all when I get home. Does anyone have ANY input on ANY vendors they have dealt with and/or recommend to get/not get. MUCH APPRECIATED!!

Hey, I am new to this site and just stumbled upon your post. I can strongly suggest you contact Vincent Keh Photography ( www.vincentkehphoto.com ) and speak with Michael. He and his partner Greg shot our wedding in Punta Cana and we couldn't have been happier with EVERYTHING! Not only were we happy with the photos, but they are just great guys in general. We experienced some hiccups on our day, but their laid-back attitude made everything just a little easier to deal with and the photo sessions soooo much fun :). Like I said get a hold of Michael via the website or michael@vincentkehphoto.com and see what you can arrange. The pricing is great as long as you resort allows off-site photographers (and even if they don't, just decline the resort photographer and invite the as 'guest'...lol...nothing wrong with being a little sneaky). All the best in your search and hope I was able to help...I feel your pain. G.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
