@ Deniden, did they give you a hard time for vegetarian dinner in addition to the two other dinner choices you had? I didn't realize I'm going to need 3 vegetarian dishes. Off topic from food, did you have them do your make up and hair. I'm extremely nervous about this. I was curious what kind of makeup they used.

I just gave them my entree counts. I have one vegetarian dish that i requested in addition to the beef and chicken choices and they didn't say a word about it. 

 

Also I am having them do my hair and make-up. I asked what make-up brand they use and she said Atelier Cosmetics.

Hi, We did beef au green peppers and co nut shrimp and heard they were both good. We had a guest with Crohns who required a dish from the gluten free menu and we didn't have any issues with it. I also used the salon for hair and make up and was hesitant at first. I did a trial when I got there and loved it. I'm not sure what make up brand they used. It wasnt MAC or Bobbi Brown or anything like that, but it held p really well in the heat! I posted pictures on my planning thread that I put up today.

Emily, thank you so much for your review! That's horrible all times to get sick, its on your wedding, but you still looked amazing! I'm getting a bit nervous two brides in two weeks. I think to be on the safe side I'm going to take what the one post said culturelle.

 

Now this may seem like a silly question for a trail run on hair and make-up did they charge you full price?

We chose the luxury package so its included the day of the wedding, but I'm thinking i may want to do a trail run. Ive never ever worn my hair up to a function let alone a wedding.

Thank you!!!  That was a huge help!! I was able to find a salon with in driving distance to make an appt. I have horrible dark circles and finding makeup that looks natural is very difficult. I was able to make an appt for a trial! Hopefully I can find the correct shade to use here and just go there and hopefully they have it!!

They didn't give us any issue... you just had to designate for the servers who was getting what. We had these for every guest, and the different beach themed stuff (sand dollar, sea horse, etc.) would indicate which meal they were getting. Also, I provided my WC with a seating chart (I made it in Powerpoint), so they knew who was getting what meal.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
