Sandals Jamaica Pricing (or any Jam AI)

Recommended Posts

I'm getting extremely varied numbers when it comes to pricing per night at Sandals Jamaican resorts (any of them). lets just say Negril to narrow it down. Would anyone be willing to let me know what their final group rate was (per night)? just trying to get a realistic number of what to expect. Anyone who has experience with any of the Sandals resorts is welcome to respond, and any insight from anyone also planning a non-sandals AI resort wedding would also be appreciated!!! Just trying to understand what I should be expecting and know when I should be negotiating and when I should be satisfied with an offer.

I am doing mine at Secrets Saint James in Montego Bay, I looked into Sandles but we had too many "singles" going and the the rates were based on double occupancy plus all room are king size beds only - so if 2 of our male friends decided to share a room they would have to sleep in the same bed.  That was my only draw back. Sandles also was one of the most expensie AI resorts we looked at.

Good luck

What my TA did for my estimate was use 2014 rates. She told me it usually goes up between $20-$50. If you go on Sandals website hit the make a reservation link for uptodate pricing based on room selection. Hope this helps.....

  • 4 weeks later...

We decided to go with Grand Pineapple Negril for our guests, Sandals is way to expensive for a single person and children are not allowed on the property. GP is part of the Sandals and not too far. We end up paying for guest passess to Sandals though. It makes sense to have a group at Sandals when it's 10 guests and over, you get the perks but rooms are still expensive.

I've been looking at Grand Pineapple also. Can you plz send me any ceremony and reception set up pics ? I got some pricing from the WC bt no pics and I would like a visual ... My email is giffojess@yahoo.com ... Thanks in advance

We have the ceremony at Sandals, but all the guests are staying at GP, since it's much cheaper, so I don't know the ceremony sites at GP. TBH, I don't really know how Sandals set up looks like, I can only guess from the pictures on their website and some pictures on tripadvisor. WC at Sandals are extremely vague, and photographer said these are not the people who know the location. You should still request pictures from your wedding coordinator and they have to provide you with something.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
