Getting married at Now Larimar Punta Cana this December 2013 Fountain vs. the Beach Location

Recommended Posts

Can anyone that has already gone through this process tell me what the Fountain location was like vs. the beach I really dont want to pay extra for the Gazebo as I am going there with a very small group only 10 of us very small intimate group. I would also love to hear from anyone that also had a very mall group to tell me what the best restaurant would be to sit and have reception dinner as there are not enough people in my group to justify a seperate booked off area

Thanks in advance

Congrates to all the brides out there

Hi Chantel,

Congratulations on your recent engagement! One of our wedding designers here actually, had organized a wedding this past January 2013! I have the location pictures but it is a PDF format, you can PM your email address and I can send you what I have. It also has reception locations as well.

I definitely agree, it is silly to spend your budget on a  private function for 10 people. The wedding packages at the NOW resorts include a semi private dinner for up to 25 guests (unless you book the "Your Moments" package.

I can send you info on this too =)

I just got married there..on the beach April 24th. The fountain is an amazing set up. 2 of the wedding packages do include a private reception. I opted for the free wedding and paid for the private reception dinner. If you have no children in your group and want to do a Restaurant rather than pay for a private dinner.. go for the French. Very nice and the night we ate there we saw a wedding group there. It was a nice set up. Also the food is amazing!! Feel free to PM any questions :)

Hi Chantel,

As we work here in this resort and we see and make weddings every day, we would recommend you the Fountain. There you have more privacy than on the beach and as you said, you have the Gazebo :)

Also, if you have no children in your group you can ask your WC for the Gazebo Royal which is situated on Secrets area and is a gazebo on the roof from where you have a very nice view of the ocean and beach.

If you will choose the Fountain or Gazebo Royal for your ceremony location you always can have pictures on the beach...

Hope to see you in December and if you need info about photography, don't hesitate to contact us.

Regards,

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
