Hotel blocks for guests?

Hey everyone! 

Does anyone know if they do this in the PV area? If you have so many of your guests stay at a certain hotel, does the hotel give your guests a deal? This happens a lot at hotels here in the states, so I figured it may be the same. I can't look into hotels till I choose my villa because I want the hotels close to where we stay - but in the mean time does anyone recommend a certain hotel they used? Someone to contact?

@JennaLea - Yes they do! All resorts will block off rooms (given that there is a minimum amount) and give your guests a group/discounted price for the dates that you have blocked off.

 

What sort of resort are you looking for in the PV area?

Most of the resorts offer a group block and offer amenities with them.

 

They all vary depending on the time of year, location, pricing, etc.

I am still undecided b/c this depends on the villa we choose, I want to keep the hotel options close to the villa. We are coming in July to figure this out. 

 

Any hotels you've worked with that you suggest? Do any of the hotels offer shuttles to and from airport?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
