wow! This was so helpful. I was losing my mind on trying to figure out where to start and this helped BIG TIME. You have done an amazing job and I'm sure your guests will love all the thought you put into your planning! Can't wait to hear about how great it all went!

wow! You inspire me :) Loved reading about your story etc and all of the lovely designs you've created! I am going to borrow some of these lovely ideas, especially the page with spanish phrases and the postcards for people to fill out when they get home!

 

Q for you in regards to vista print. I am looking at postcards on their website, but how did you go about navigating here? You mentioned you designed your own cards. 

 

I would love to have peacock/beach themed postcards etc., is there a "style" you chose on the main postcard page? I just don't know where to best begin! :)

Haha thank you... I feel like a crafting machine. All of it was VERY fun but this machine is excited and can not wait to just show my guests all this stuff already! Ha :) I'll definitely share pictures of the wedding.

Thank you! Feel free to borrow away! I love the peacock beach theme! That was definitely in my top choices. That will be beautiful! :) As far as Vistaprint- since I designed the whole card myself what I did was chose the "blank" postcard or "upload your own design" I think they call it. Then I just uploaded my file. If you aren't tech savvy with making your own design, starting with one of the existing vistaprint designs is a great start!' You can still customize the wording, etc. you would just have to find one you like if they have it. :) Hope this helps!

Thank you for this incredible blog! I'm getting married at Azul in October and feel as though I have done NOTHING! I'm also working with Erika! Quick question: are you bringing the majority of decorations with you, or did you have the resort, or Lomas, supply? I'm having a hard time figuring that out. Thanks!

Congrats!! Definitely make sure you join the Azul thread if you haven't already. :) I am bringing mostly everything. Our package comes with white table linens for our private reception at plaza zavas and then I ordered overlays and runners in our colors from tableclothfactory.com to lay on top. Other than the white table cloths/linens I don't think I'm really using lomas or the resort for anything! Lol oh- they are making the piñata! I'm bringing everything you see on my thread including lights and paper lanterns, chair sashes, centerpieces, organza sheers for the gazebo, my own flowers, etc. Some of what lomas offers is nice, it's all just so expensive. Hope this helps!

Megan- all I can say is WOW and THANK YOU!  Your thread was incredibly detailed and helpful!  I am having a DW this Aug 3rd in Punta Cana and I was having such a hard time trying to figure out OOT bags,etc.  What great ideas and creativity you have!  Quick question for you, your door hangers (super cute!), on Vistaprint, did you use a postcard template?  The template you used looks perfect but wasnt sure which on you used.  Thanks again for all you help!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
