We've secured Pastor York, cores films and Jamie dimitry for photography. Still debating on dj. I'm thinking a coral and teal/turquoise color scheme. Haven't even started looking at dresses, lol. Booking the resort and those things have been SO time consuming!! I lose sleep at night thinking about decorations and everything else!!

We are having: Ceremony at 5:30 at the Gazebo Private Dinner (Buffett) & reception at Wet Bar (7:30-11) We've booked: Jamie Dimitry for our photographer DJ Mannia for our DJ Thats about as far as we are planning wise. We sent out invites in Feb (electronic with paperless post) and our guests deposits for pre registration rates are due May 8th. I cant wait to have a better idea of guest numbers. The next thing I need to figure out is a videographer. I've contacted Cores films but have a little trouble communicating with them. I did get a response about the packages but when I tried to write back to confirm I got a form letter. Not sure if I should keep pursuing them or not. Anyone have any feedback on videos? Looking forward to hearing all about everyone else's plans! Stephanie

What will you have your guests do from 6-7:30pm? Are you planning to have a cocktail hour or just the private dinner and reception? What made you pick the wet bar instead of the beach for reception?

Trying to decide if I should have my beach wedding at 5pm or 5:30pm.

I wasn't planning on looking for a dress yet but I went out & found "the one" and purchased it!! It's in our guest room closet!

As far as the other details, I ordered the raffia fans and decorated them.  It definitely gave me something to do a few nights.  I want to start working on Welcome Bags but hate to buy anything before we get a final head count...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
