Just in case some people would prefer to talk among ourselves here I thought I'd start a new thread. I'll start! My date is April 21, 2014 at Majestic Elegance. We are having: Ceremony at 5:30 at the Gazebo Private Dinner (Buffett) & reception at Wet Bar (7:30-11) We've booked: Jamie Dimitry for our photographer DJ Mannia for our DJ Thats about as far as we are planning wise. We sent out invites in Feb (electronic with paperless post) and our guests deposits for pre registration rates are due May 8th. I cant wait to have a better idea of guest numbers. The next thing I need to figure out is a videographer. I've contacted Cores films but have a little trouble communicating with them. I did get a response about the packages but when I tried to write back to confirm I got a form letter. Not sure if I should keep pursuing them or not. Anyone have any feedback on videos? Looking forward to hearing all about everyone else's plans! Stephanie

Congratulations on your engagement and wedding StephF! My wedding is on October 24th, 2014 at 5:00PM at the Gazebo! I'm extremely new with this so I have not booked the reception or anything due to it being really early also! I'm glad you started a thread for the 2014 ME brides!!!

Hi ladies, Im getting married march 27 2014. Symbolic ceremony at the gazebo at 530. Pastor Rick York will be performing our ceremony. I have HDC for photogrhy which includes trash the wedding dress . W save the dates have gone out. And now im workong on our invites. Im doing passports. Ove contacted DJ mannia , just waiting on a reply from him.

Do you have to pay per person for the buffet dinner at the wet bar?

Hi everyone!

 

I'm planning my wedding day on july the 2nd (religious wedding) at ME and I was wondering if I could have some tips from you!! Did you plan the whole wedding by yourselves or you had an agency (+ people from the hotel) helping you with it? How did you find the DJ and the photographer? How much are they?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
