Hello fellow BDW brides,

Here is a place to share your favorite drinks to help you unwind. cheers.gif

My favorite is a lava flow.

You layer pina colada and strawberry daquiri. You have to make sure you have the right consistency for it to work though.

Here's to hearing new drink ideas shots.gif

This may be a weird question. But, what does club soda taste like?

I'm not a fan of tequila. But, I think a splash of pineapple juice and a squeeze of lime juice idea will have to be used in one of my creation. Thanks for the idea!

Club soda is pretty much carbonated water.  Also called soda water.

Tequila is my favorite spirit.  You could substitute any type of liquor in for the tequila though.  I have also made a version of this drink but putting in frozen watermelon cubes for the pineapple juice.  Tasty!

I get to pick a signature drink for my wedding and I am struggling to come up with something that I think will appeal to most tastes.  I am hoping this board will give some great inspiration! :)

My colors are Navy and pink with green accents.  I don't need to have a drink in my 'color' though.  I just want it to appeal to guests...

While they don't have to match, it could be a fun challenge. You might have to test try these ideas while doing wedding planning wink.gif lol

For pink ideas,

Strawberry lemonade, rum and Sprite with a lime wedge

Watermelon Sangria

Cherry limeade with tequila and vodka/rum

Recently, I had a drink with lemonade, (sweet) tea and either rum or vodka. It was good!

David Tutera does his "signature cocktail" thing for weddings. Might be a cool thing to incorporate :)

I also like the Tokyo Iced Tea:

1 oz vodka 1 oz gin 1 oz rum 1 oz tequila 2 oz kiwi liqueur 1 oz sugar syrup 7-Up® soda   Very tasty, but they're dangerous, since they're like 4 shots in a drink...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
