A little thing I like to call "Operation Wedding Dress" (aka, my dress is too small... but it won't be soon!)

Try Jillian Michael's 30 day shred to start, it's a great program to start with. I lost 13inches from it and than I did her Ripped in 30 DVD. You can buy them in walmart for $9 and you just need some dumbells. Try skinnytaste.com for recipes and try a tracking program to log all your food. There's a lot out there for free, I personally use myfitnesspal and it has helped me to lose over 18lbs so far

I have the 30 day shred and started with that in April.  I was doing it about 3-4 times a week to get me back in it.  Now I am doing the 90 Body Revolution from JM.  I am on week 5 and have noticed improvements in strength and appearance (less flabby, firmer, less cellulite).  I've lost about 4 lbs and 4 inches since then.  The problem is that I do well with my meals during the day but evenings and weekends are tough for me.  So i know i could be seeing bigger results if I was more strict with my diet.  So that is what I am going to do.  I downloaded the 17 day diet on my ereader this weekend and going to start that today.  Its not really a "17 day diet".  It four phases each comprising of 17 days.  Its nothing I haven't heard before but I am thinking that if it is split up on phases and you can measure success and switch it up every 2.5 weeks might be more motivating for me.

Thanks for the tip on the logging of food. I am going to do that as well...keep me even more accountable.

My fiance bought this thing called the ab coaster, it's pretty sweet... you can work your abs real good!  And some friends have been commenting that I'm looking more fit which is encouraging!

I tried this "military" diet thing for like a day and a half.. but I got real cranky AND I cried at work lol... so I had to stop it.  I'm just trying to keep the portions down and make healthy choices.  I don't think I've lost any lbs in a while but maybe the muscle is part of that.

Two days short of 5 months until the wedding.... it's getting to be a little scary!!!

Yeah! We were exactly six months yesterday from our wedding day - and even less until we fly down there! There's still so many things I feel I need to do!

I was down 9.1lbs from March-April-May, but I've been away for work for the past few weeks and I have a feeling my June weigh-in will show a bit of a gain :(

hahah even looking at what the army diet was made me miserable. There is no way I could survive on that diet.. so I didn't even attempt! it took me 7 months of going to the gym to start seeing any type of weight loss... and even at that, I have lost 3 pounds... everyone says it's because I was building muscle and muscle weighs more than fat blah blah.. I hated hearing it because I was so unmotivated with not seeing weight loss results.. It is so hard to be on a diet because I spend so little time at home and therefore usually buy a lot of my lunches.. but I have been trying to buy smaller portions and lighter options..

I have refrained from buying clothes for a little bit because I wanted to get smaller. A couple of weeks ago I ordered some summer stuff from New York and Company. I ordered medium shirts, because that's what fit me. Turns out I had to go back and exchange for smalls and even x-smalls!!
