A little thing I like to call "Operation Wedding Dress" (aka, my dress is too small... but it won't be soon!)

Our weddings are close to each other. You definitely have time to get to your 150 goal! The summer and the nice weather will help a lot, it's easier to eat fresh local produce and get out and exercise!

I was in a staff meeting this morning and there were boxes of cookies from a bakery someone brought in. I totally resisted. I know how the cookies taste already, and I'd rather feel amazing in my dress for the entire wedding day, than feel amazing for the 10 seconds while I devoured a cookie (and then feel badly after).

You're right - let's do this!

Yeah the dates are weird on my card. Like I weighed in but the stamp says May31. I might just go weigh in this week or next weeklong as i am under goal and get it over with. I might have a 4+ gain but will still be under goal. so thats ok. lol

Wow I didnt realize our weddings were a month apart! Im sure you will look great!

I sit in "candy corner" at work, they always have candy and cheeseballs. Im not too much of a fan of cheese balls so i can resist that. but the candy.. FML. ahha Ive only had a mint today so im being good. Its helping curb my hunger til i can get home for dinner.

6/7 months to go ! we can do this hehe :)

Good idea!!! And as far as the chicken goes, high sodium with make you retain water. But you can cross it out by having potassium.

I feel you ladies about being tempted at work!  I work in the health care setting where I see patients every day for 3-7 weeks straight.  When they finish their treatment they often bring in chocolates, cookies, and other amazing goodies.  It can be really hard to resist.  The trick for me is to just not start.  Two weeks ago I decided that I was not going to have any of the goodies, cut them out completely.  Once I set my mind to it I can do pretty well, but it is very tough.  Especially when chocolates come in that are my favourite!

I contacted the lady I ordered them from and she said she's never seen "missent" before and told me to let her know if I get them today. Aww, I know you're probably really excited to get them, but I'm sure the sender would re-send them for you if they're lost. That's totally not your fault :(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
