    Hi everyone.

We just got confirmation that we will be getting married January 14, 2014 at the RIU, I am so excited and can not wait.

I do have some questions for anyone who has been married there before.

I am not sure which is the best location for dinner. Are you able to do the speeches at the dinner or do you have to wait to do them at the disco or wherever you choose? What were the decorations like? I would love to see some pictures of the dinner reception and maybe of some of the disco during the wedding part. . Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Since all the Riu resorts have the same packages...which package did you choose? Did you select a package that included less than your anticipated guest count?

I chose the free package. It only includes up to 10 guests. For the Riu im at any amt of guests over 10 is 10.50 per person(for dinner/drinks) plus the minister /document fee 525 or something like that.

I was wondering how you all handled your save the date and invitations?

How far out did you send them?

What kind of information did you put on there?

Did you do a welcome dinner and at what point did you communicate that info to the guests?
