I wad

I have decided I am no longer going to worry about who's coming and who's not as long as my parents, his mother, & my brother are there. Initially I stressed over guest but I can't. If it's just me and my FI then so be it. Right now we have about 20 confirmed. I think more will confirm but like I said I'm not going to stress about it. Those who can't attend can celebrate with us at our AHR and see pics then. I would say try not to worry about your guest count (if you can).
I was in the sand boat I stressed about my guest count but as long as my fiancé gets on that plane I'm good. Lol yes it's important that our parents are there and special ppl in our lives but anyone else they wedding will go on regardless I had to keep telling me self that And not worry bout the little things

Seven months seem like 2mrw to me. Do you feel that way as well? My dress is suppose to be here in December. I'm nervous and very excited about that at the same time. I ordered my dress in the size I am now but I want to Need alterations. So I need to start working out.
I feel the same way! It's going to be here before we know it! As for my dress fittings, I'm also getting started on a workout schedule. I'm super short so my dress will definitely need to be hemmed, I'm just hoping to need some work done in the middle section too! Haha!

Glad I'm not the only one stressing this one. My FI's parents STILL haven't booked. Which I find super annoying bc they say they are for sure coming. My travel agent always makes it seem that usually her brides have more ppl book right away, so she's actually making me feel worse about it. My dress just came in as well! It fits, but will need some contouring. I want to lose 20 too though! Argh, my FI makes it so hard! We are having our engagement photos taken in two weeks and will be doing invites late October, early November. I'm planning to have a little DIY party to put together the passport invites, OOT bags, and possibly some other stuff.

Still haven't decided on my dress although I am givingyself till the end of this week to make a decision. I sent out invitations a while back as we live in London and needed to give quite abit of notice to our friends and family to get to Cancun. I haven't sorted bridesmaids as some of those I would like till haven't confirmed whether they're coming yet. Which is a pain! But hey! Are you guys traveling with guests? And how many do you have confirmed? I feel like it's so close, and only a few of mine have confirmed, getting quite worried that we'll have no guests! Lol xx

OMG!!!! I thought I was the only one experiecing this. My FI's mother has not reserved her room and she just keeps saying she's coming. I'm soooooo frustrated b/c we both want her there and we also can't move forward with our plans for my stepson without knowing if she's really coming b/c he will fly out and stay with her. I'm trying not to stress or nag him or her but I'm secrectly losing my mind. I like the idea of a DIY party. Good idea.

I feel a little better knowing it's not jut my family and friends dragging there heels! I too am trying not to stress so much but it would just be nice to have them all there, also our agent calle to say that flights around our dates were booking up really fast so we need to inform our guests. I've let them all know and a lot of them say they're coming but still haven't booked

And I know most of them wont be paying in full as it's quite a lot of money from London to Cancun. Feeling a little anxious 😳 but glad us brides can vent on here!

I love that I'm able to vent my frustration with other people who are experiencing some of the difficulities that I am. I try not to stress my FI about it but definitely need an outlet. This is a good outlet.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
