My goal is to try to keep it as inexpensive as possible. If you need to arrive the day before and leave the day after that is fine also. How many invitaitons did you send out. I am at the beginning stage and wont lock my date in until Early November.

Not necessarily, if you are staying 7 nights it would be 3-3500, but guest can stay only 4 nights or 3. Because of personal reasons my room came up a lot more expensive that I would have like it but I am thinking my guests would be around $2500 or less for 4 nights.

The cost depends on your destination in relation where you're from. We decided on Mexico because flights are about $350 roundtrip. (Our actual dates aren't available yet.) Our guest will be paying about $800 each for lodging and airfare for our wedding.

Very nice Breakdown!!!  I love your disposable camera option that will save you tons of money. I chose custom invites in which I created them all by myself I ended up spending 32.00 printing them at office max and 8.50 shipping them off. I am having a very small wedding with under 30 people. [/quote Thanks so nuch for the encouragement. Those disposable cameras really worked out best for us.professional pictures always look great but we figured iur friends and family taking picture of us as they see us is soo much more meaningful. And yes saves thousands if dollars.

$800 each for lodging and airfare? That sounds like a great deal!!! woot.gif however, I was just bringing up a point to Icis, that not because the couple is paying $3500, that would be the case for her guest too.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
