do you still have the fans? i would buy them off of you!!

I do actually! I'm going to be selling a bunch of stuff, just haven't had a chance to take inventory and post it all yet. But I have a ton of fans left because I bought 85 from another BDW bride and I only used 35. I'll sell them for $1 each (which is what I paid the other bride) and free shipping if you're in the US. Sometime this week I hope to post everything I have available.

You're welcome! I was eager for pics and info when I was planning so I'm happy to share. And thanks for the nice comments on my pics!

I don't have many pics of the cocktail tables. :( They were tall tables draped with white fabric and the hotel supplied clear vases then filled them with some of the flowers from the pomanders. You can sort of see it in this pic.

And here's a pic that shows the dance floor (please excuse the groom dancing by himself. haha.) They set it up with the dance floor in the middle, 2 round tables on either side, the buffet at the back and the sweetheart table at the front (facing the buffet but separated by the dance floor) One note about the buffet: in addition to the wedding cake or cupcakes that you get, they also supply a whole table of desserts. It's really so much food. We didn't get to eat much of it but the guests said everything was really good. We sadly didn't get to taste any of the cocktail hour food and I wanted to try some of those things!

Some do, but not all. :( Actually a lot of them have green ribbon because the other bride's colors were purple and green. I had to remove it and re-wrap in purple ribbon for mine. It was a pretty easy/fast process though!

I really think it's a great idea  that you had and did to buy the plastic bins to transport all of your stuff and use those as "checked bags" and then just leave them there.  How exactly were you able to check them?  Did you have to do anything differently since it's a bin?  Thanks!

The only thing I had to do differently was make sure I taped them up really well so that the lids didn't come loose and spill items everywhere. Other than that, I think the airlines are used to seeing all kinds of oddly shaped luggage so no one even questioned it! These are the bins I used: http://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-30-gal-Tote-2030-0106/202523604#.UboErpz9Us4

I flew American and the dimensions of these were within the limits. I also weighed each one after it was filled with items to make sure it wasn't over the weight limit because I didn't want to pay extra at the check-in counter.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
