Private beach ceremony . . . any suggestions

Recommended Posts

Planning on getting married in april/may 2014, Was looking into the Royal PDC and I love a lot about it other than beach looks busy and I want a more intimate setting for my ceremony on the beach. Dont really want a big gazebo. Its just us and 4 guests. We are not really doing a reception with only 6 people but most places will reserve a more private table in resturant for you. Im trying to get ideas. I also like the VIM. Ive been doing research for the past month and my head is full of places I definetely ruled out.

Want the place to be budget friendly The Royal PDC is in the right price range but EL Dorado Maroma was over budget just so you have an idea.

I would like Adults Only and All Inclusive. The Beach is important to us also. Food & bars must be good, I dont expect 5 star meals at an AI.

Thanks Ahead,

Michelle

Hi Michelle,

If you are looking for an all inclusive private enough for your ceremony you can try the Hacienda Tres Rios, otherwise a beach club outside from Playa del Carmen like the Grand Coral.

Happy planning!

Hey Chelle!

I would definitely consider Grand Coral beach for the ceremony as its private and then reserve a sport at a restaurant such la Casa Del Agua. They have this private spot (its like their roof top terrace over looking cozumel) super romantic if you ask me.

Have a look at The Royal Hideaway Playacar its an adult only, and their prices are pretty reasonable.

Hope this information was helpful.

Happy Planning

Joyce.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
