Hi Ladies,

I must be missing something here...how you do confirm your wedding date with the resorts? I can't get quotes from the resorts past June 2014.

Hi!  We have finally set a date! August 8, 2015 and although it is very far in advance, I would love to start planning and love to see that there are already some 2015 brides out and about!! YAY I am not crazy or alone!! Still have not settled on a destination, but am leaning towards Jamaica.. Any advice on how you ultimately decided on your locale? Not the hotel or resort, but the actual destination??? I would love to hear your thoughts and reasoning!  xoxo
Congratulations on your engagement! We picked May 4, 2015 (anniversary of the first day we met), and decided on Cabo due to the likely sunny holiday we will have (they boast sun 360 days per year), we have some golfers in the bunch and there's plenty of that close by, for some family that are a little less adventurous when it comes to vacations, we figured Cabo had a safer feel than some other locations, and the ease of flights for all coming, since some are coming from smaller towns with less airport access. Hope that helps, and good luck! My Fiancée has been to Jamaica, but it's somewhere I've always wanted to see! I'm sure it will be a beautiful wedding!!

Hi. I'm also planning a November 2015 wedding. It's my 10 year anniversary. I'm glad I'm not the only one already planing and all your post really help. I live in California and was thinking a puerto Vallarta wedding would be more affordable for my guests. Does anyone know pros and cons for Vallarta vs. playa del Carmen/ cancun. I've never been to either of the places.

Hi Ladies, It is so great to know that there are other 2015 brides on here. Sometimes it feels far away and that I am planning to far in advance but like many of you have said it gives us time to research and make the right decision. I am currently planning to be a Now Jade bride in Cancun, Mexico. I am actually already legally married but my husband and I never had a wedding nor anyone there when we got married at the courthouse. We really just set a date one week and went and did it. Told everyone later that week. Nothing special, no dinner, nothing. My hubby promised me on our 5th year anniversary we would renew our vows and have my dream wedding. Well that day is finally within sit so April 25, 2015 is the date. I am sooooo excited as I have waited for this day for so long. Doing a destination wedding was my compromise but now I am overly joyed that I agreed to his idea because I know my wedding will surely be one to remember for my guest and very different than what any of them are use too. Anyways, I can't wait to share ideas with you all and enjoy this journey together. Brenda
I'm in your same boat. I also married at the court except Ive waited 10 years. I'm excited its finally happening and better yet we can have our children participate and celebrate with us. I'm planning on November 2015. Are you planning on a straight out wedding or vow renewal? I'm not sure how to handle this part.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
