Disposable Underwater Cameras

Recommended Posts

I've been trying to decide if I want to include these in my OOT bags. Not sure people will actually use them, and it's one more thing to pack. Any thoughts or advice from brides who added them? Thanks in advance!

I was thinking about doing the same thing, but I am thinking of canning the idea. I read a few reviews saying it is a waste of money because people WILL bring their own cameras, so me not purchasing them will save us money for something that will be used!! Good Luck

We're doing a group excursion to Dunn's Falls, but I am starting to think people won't use them. Also, where do you even take a non digital camera to get the pics developed these days?! Worried that even if people use them they might not actually ever get the pics and then it'll still be a waste. Hmm.

CVS should be able to develop them no problem. Maybe you could collect them at the end of the excursion, or have someone in your bridal party, and get them developed and tell everyone you'll share them? I know sometimes when you go to weddings they put disposable cameras on the tables with stickers saying to take pictures & leave them... maybe something similar to that?

That's true. Something to consider for sure! Here's what I have in the bags so far. I think I need to stop. Haha.

OOT bags:

welcome letter to guests

ID/money holder

post cards & pen

plastic tumbler with straw

s'mores for our welcome bonfire

sudoku book/word find book

coral bottle stopper

Oh Sh*t Kit (shout wipes, emergen-c, advil, pepto, alka-seltzer, band-aids, aloe, hand sanitizer, chap stick, tissues, altoids)

underwater camera?

That sounds great! Where did you get the coral bottle stopper?

Also, I especially love the s'mores idea. But I'd be worried about crushing the graham crackers in route. :)

The coral bottle stoppers are adorable. I did a post about them here (includes info on where to buy) http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/85633/cute-coral-bottle-stoppers-for-oot-bags

And I'm just bringing a couple boxes of graham crackers, bags of marshmallows, individual Hershey's bars and cellophane bags down with me. I'll assemble them there before tossing them in the OOT bags! It'll look something like this.

I'll post pics of mine once I do a trial run. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
