Fire Dancers

I am wondering if anyone has hired fire dancers at any of the resorts in Cancun or the Maya. We are really interested in having them for entertainment for our guests. I have asked our WC but she never anwsers my questions about this, so I was hoping maybe someone on the forum has had experience with this.

My WC at Dreams Cancun was going to hire 80 Varos for us.

It's a 45 minute show I think. The cost is $1500.

We were going to hire them, but we are over budget now.

I have asked her to give me pricing for other firedancer performers, but she hasn't sent me anything as of yet.

My resort WC told me they don't permit and fire related entertainment, ie, fireworks and fire dancers

I was thinking of doing this too as long as Im not over budget. I havent gotten around the ask my WC yet but when I hear I will let you know.

Los Itzaes - Fire show Drums and lights show Lights and Water show

 

This is the best fire show in Playa. They also do a water drum show if fire is not allowed. It's a great show, I've shot video of it twice and it's really tight. Sometimes when you hire firedancers here you get a random selection of beach bums. This is a professional group with a complete show and good management.
