I used Sharon Wint from Face Forward Cosmetics.

She was AWESOME!

I had airbrushing done for me and my BM's had standard makeup. The makeup last all day. I didn't do a trial. I sent her some photos of the type of look I wanted...all the pics were of Beyonce hahah. But She did a fabulous job! I highly reccomend her.

Oh and another plus...she arrived about 25 mins early to set up her station. Very professional!

Oh and I highly reccomend brides get airbrush makeup. My photographer made the suggestion to me as he said it lasts all day which you need if the makeup artist isn't going to stick around all day. The airbrush feels light and nice. For the bride they start at your chest and go up so it hides any tan lines or marks on your skin. And in the JA heat, with all the sweating that you'll be doing, it was amazing to pass by a mirror and see that my face was still intact...shocking actually. LOL. I'm not a big makeup wearer but would wear airbrush every day if i could.

Wow that sounds awesome!  I'm not a makeup wearer either so that's nice you felt light and it lasted.

I just wanted to leave a note to any bride that is getting married in Jamaica and looking for someone to do their make-up.  I was married on June 7th at Iberostar Rose Hall and Rashel Edwards did my make-up and it was AMAZING!  I cannot tell you how thrilled I was with it and how many compliments I got (and it looks fabulous in all of the pictures)!  Her airbrushing stayed on all day (even lasted until the next day, and it was HOT!) and my lashes lasted for a few days as well.  I wish I could hire her to be my fulltime make-up artist; I have never felt as beautiful as she made me feel on my wedding day!!  Rashel was so sweet and listened to everything I wanted, she was very professional and really made me feel calm and in good hands.  If she is available for your big day, please do yourself a favor and book her, you will not be disappointed!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
