Non Cheesy Vegas Wedding

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

My name is Kylie and my fiance and I are planning a Vegas elopement in July-August 2014. We will possibly have some family traveling with us, but it won't be many. We want something intimate and romantic, but none of the cheese that you see on movie Vegas weddings. Do any of you have any ideas for somewhere to start. We have looked at the Bellagio packages and they are lovely, but would love some more options.

Thanks in advance.

Please visit us at www.littlechapel.com.  We are a full-service chapel in Las Vegas and cater to international brides and grooms.

Thank you,

My brother just got married in February at the Chapel of Flowers and I have to be honest, it was an all time cheese fest! From the decor, down to the awful music!!! If you are looking for something that isn't cheesy then stay away from any kind of chapel.

Hi RNtoBe,

Congratulations on your upcoming destination wedding!

I am so sorry to hear that you feel this way.  We take pride in the ceremonies we perform and the numerous award we have won because of our professionalism, attention to detail and happy couples.  Typically, the bride and groom can select their own music or choose from the traditional selections we have.  If you don't mind, could you please give me your brother's first name only and wedding date.  I would really like to look at their ceremony.  Sometimes we are also confused with other chapels on the Las Vegas Strip.  Las Vegas destination weddings are not popular with everyone, but we strive to provide an excellent experience at Chapel of the Flowers for our couples and their guests.

Many thanks - Chapel of the Flowers

Hi RNtoBe,

Congratulations on your upcoming ceremony!  I am sorry you feel that way about Chapel of the Flowers.  We pride ourselves on being one of the best stand-alone chapels on the Las Vegas Strip.  We have won numerous awards for our presentation, service and have many happy couple and reviews.  If you don't mind, please share your brother's first name only and his ceremony date.  I would like to take a look at his ceremony and make sure we performed to our standards.  Not everyone is excited about a Las Vegas destination wedding, but we strive to provide and elegant and luxurious experience.  Thank you!

Hey there

Im also from Australia getting married in Las Vegas in April 2014. Whilst Chapel of the Flowers is nice, they do not allow your guests to take ANY photos and it is quite expensive to buy a cd with all of your pics on it (so that you have the digital files for extra prints / posting online). Now this is ok if you are eloping and happy for just a few prints of your wedding pics. Photography was SUPER important to us especially for our guests to be able to take pics so thats why we didnt go with the Chapel of the Flowers.

The Chapels at Mandalay Bay and the Wynn are absolutely gorgeous. Ive also heard great reviews about the gardens at Caesars palace however this may not be a good idea for a summer wedding as it is HOT in Las Vegas. I chose the Flamingo Hotel for my wedding as I will be having a few guests (about 40) and they allowed me to bring in my own photographer. There is a new wedding chapel opening soon at the Aria hotel which I think will be absolutely gorgeous too.

Best of luck with planning and please feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Hey Kylie! My name is Tatiana. My FH & I are planning on a June 2014 wedding. We would love an outside ceremony but I'm just a tad bit hesitant since it will most likely be hot. So far I've checked out Mandalay Bay, Caesars, Mirage, and Chapel of Flowers. We are having around 35-40 family and friends come. All of the venues are pretty nice and having such a hard time choosing. But those are my ideas. Good luck picking a venue. Keep us posted.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
