@calglarybride2015

They turned out really well. We have similar tumblers. How do you like them? They are pretty sturdy hey?

They did! I kinda wish the 'Mexico 2015' was curved at the bottom of the orange but still happy!! Good quality.

They are sturdy I think!!! I plan to pack them well just incase but for $2 what More can you ask for!!

@@calgarybride2015 how do you plan on packing the tumblers? I love this idea and they look great but I would have about 65 to pack. Also, did you go to the store and pick out all clear tumblers or were you able to order them? I was thinking different colors would be good for contrast but I saw you said you got letters for your guests initials. I love that idea! Where did you purchase the letters and where are you putting them? Thanks!!

I filled my tumblers with my oh shit kits so I packed them assembled - lids on but no straws. I actually bubbled wrapped them each individually. You could stack them inside each other for more space and bubble wrap a grouping. So in the suitcase I have cardboard layer, bubbled wrapped cups with more bubble wrap to pack in crevices then a layer of bubble wrap and cardboard then rinse and repeat for another layer.

Since I'm in Canada ordering things isn't as easy. I went to 2 dollarama's to acquire my 48 cups. I got clear as that's all they had but I so like the idea of colourful ones too :)

The letters were just stickers from the scrap booking section of the dollar store. To be honest fiancé didn't think it was necessary so I never used them and honestly had forgotten about them until you mentioned it. I did pit them on mine though way back when and put them on the lid. They weren't very big in size.

@@calgarybride2015 Sounds great! Thanks for the info.

I am definitely back and forth between clear and colored. I've actually seen a lot more color tumblers in the dollar store compared to clear. My concern with the colored tumblers is purchasing stickers that will be able to be seen on all the different colors. Did anyone have a problem with this? Did anyone just give the colored tumblers without any sticker? Thanks!

@@calgarybride2015 They look great! I'm trying to figure this out now also. I'm searching for stickers now and might actually be ending up with the ones you had on yours loll They are too cute! What inch size of the stickers did you use?

@@jenna32schap - I'm having the same concern. I like having the different colors but think stickers would actually look better on clear. At the same time, I don't really want to tumblers without any personalization on it.  :huh:

Davet Designs can change the colors of everything you want on the label, but I am unsure if she does clear labels.

Mine were 2.5 inch stickers and the package was for 48.  Very good quality and waterproof!

@@jenna32schap Yea I've thought about it and agree! I've already purchased my mixed colored Tumblers and the stickers for them. Super excited! I looked on Dollartree and found out they have a sister store (Deals) a few blocks away from my house so they can be delivered to the store for free pickup. Yay!

@Lia33 I did the same! The colors I got were red, green, blue, and clear. Here's some advice- make sure you take the stickers off the bottom prior to washing (I didn't for the first few and now need to get goo gone b/c they are all sticky) and don't soak them b/c it seemed like water got stuck between the two layers.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
