DIY Tumblers - with pics - share your designs!

Recommended Posts

Hello Ladies,

So to save some money, my FI and I are planning on labelling our own tumblers....

700

here is what we came up with (with ideas of course borrowed from another bride)....

700

We went to staples and asked for a waterproof label....the guy gave us one that is partially clear...brought it home, printed them all out....then my beautiful dog drooled on it...guess what! It's not so waterproof!!! Thankfully they aren't on the tumblers yet.

We're looking for other options to personalize them, anyone got any ideas?? Anyone done these before?

Thanks for your help! :)

I ordered waterproof labels from Bridget at Davet Designs. http://www.etsy.com/shop/DavetDesigns?ref=seller_info

You can choose from different designs, sizing, etc. or use your own design.  I got 4 sheets (48 stickers) for $18.85 + $5.50 shipping = $24.35.  She was pretty quick, I ordered on a Friday evening and received my order the following Thursday (and I had her make one change after she set me the proof)

Those are beautiful!! :) I love the saying on yours! :)

Etsy dealer - never thought of that!

My WONDERFUL fiance came up with a solution for our tumblers today! :) He went into a sign company today and we're having them put the labels on the cups for us...and it will probably cost us about the same amount as the stickers off Etsy.

Will post a pic when we get them back! :)

They should be done by next Wednesday - I'll post pics ASAP.

Also, just wondering if anyone else did this...we decided we wanted to make ourselves some cups too. They'll be most memorable for us...so we went to buy more, and the dollarama told my FI that they aren't selling them like that anymore because they break too easily during shipping....SOOOO....I immediately went out and got three extras JUST IN CASE any break on the way down there...we all know our luggage gets tossed around pretty badly. Anyone else get extras?

Hey Ladies! Just wanted to share a site that I came across..www.totallyweddingkoozies.com

I wanted koozies as a last minute addition to our OOT bags and the majority of the sites have a larger than needed minimum order. I was able to order 25 of them from here and they even threw in a "bride" and "groom" koozie! They turned out great and were pretty cheap =)

They actually have a bunch of customizable items if you go to http://www.totallypromotional.com/

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
