I actually have two sets of bags  I got some from Christmas Tree Shop for $5 each ... then I ended up getting some from another bride on here with shipping they were $2 each.  I need to get rid of one set... just can't make up my mind on which ones.   How many do you need?

I'm a touchy feely person too - I almost bought so many bags but stopped because I didn't know how they felt ... hahah

Hey RaynDrop.

it's definitely not bad hahah. St. Lucia is a piece of heaven. I know its far away... but do you know if you are going to honeymoon there or are you thinking about stopping by one of the close islands?

I don't know exactly how many I need but I am approximating maybe 50? Send me a pic would love to see the bags...

Congratulations on passing your boards!! Such exciting news!! I'm dreading finishing wedding planning mid semester, but i'm just gonna push through and hope it all works out :) Best wishes with your job hunt!

Thanks so much!! You are going to do absolutely great. I'm sure it will be a bit tough but you will manage. Think of the wedding planning as stress relief from studying :)

Hey ladies,

Here is a link to my planning thread! I can't believe my wedding has already come and gone. Unfortunately I got salmonella poisoning 2 days before the wedding and really didn't feel good. I ate nothing but toast for 4 days and saw the resort Dr twice. After 2 rounds of antibiotics and a solid week I started to feel human again. The only good part is that the resort gave us a complimentary week stay for our one year anniversary. I'd be happy to answer any questions you guys might have about how we did things, or our planning process. While obviously I didn't get to fully enjoy it, everything turned out exactly how I wanted, and it was beautiful.

Emily, You looked great!! Sorry to hear about being sick though.

Sorry for the delay in replying - I have been on vacation since last Monday - just got home and of course I HAD to jump on and see what's new on here : )

We talked about all the different options for our trip - stay put - go to one of the other two Sandals on St. Lucia - go to a different resort - go to a different Island - and so on... we finally just ended up booking our room at the Halcyon (were we are getting married at) for 2 weeks.  We will be there something like 6 days before and 6 days after the wedding so we figure that will give us plenty of time to really get to check out the island .. and I assume we will be there 3 - 4 days before and after all out guest so we can actually have enough alone time without anyone feeling like they came all that way and not get to hang out with us.

Although - having just got off a plane from Denver today my FI HATES flying and now wants me to figure out how we can get to St. Lucia without flying!  Or maybe only flying to FL and taking a boat from there! haha I don't know if this is possible but I'm going to email my TA right now!  If it didn't sound like fun I would have told him No but I think that sounds like an amazing idea - I hope something is possible!!!

Where have you stayed in St. Lucia?

I only have 12 of each style of bags - so I'm not sure that would be helpful - Sorry

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
