Iberostar Paraíso Maya & Lindo Brides 2014!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi girls! I am also trying to secure a date for end of 2014! I stayed at the Iberostar Maya before and I just loved it! They have amazing service and the resort is just beautiful. I actually wanted to have my wedding at the Grand but I have a 6 year old daughter and that one is adults only :(

We decided to go for the Dream Package and will be using their photographer. I am very excited about this planning process and can't wait to secure the date.

For any of the girls that have secured the date, did you have to send a photocopy of your credit card? I am just not sure I feel comfortable doing this so I am hoping they take some other form of payment...

Also if anyone has any suggestions for make up vendors I would appreciate it :)

Hello Iberostar ladies and gentleman! We recently shot a wedding at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo, it was simply beautiful! Thought I would share a few photos with you for inspiration. Here you can see the whole Iberostar Paraiso Lindo wedding of Erin and Christopher, congrats to the newlyweds and best of luck to all of you planning!

Yes, we had to send a photocopy of our credit card. We were hesitant at first as well, but we did this back in early March and haven't had a problem.

Hi!

My fiance and I are trying to secure 2-14-2014 date for our wedding at the Lindo...

May I ask why you ladies chose the Lindo instead of the Iberostar Maya, del Mar or Beach?

Hey 0214Bride2014,

We were going back and forth between the two as well. Our TA sent us group rates for both, the Lindo was a little cheaper and that's what we based our final decision on.

I sent my credit card info and I am now booked for November 2014!! So exciting! I found out a few things that may be useful for other brides:

*If you want to use an outside vendor, such as photographer or anything for which they offer their services on site there will be a fee of around $300 USD

*Make up at their spa is $85 for the bride, they sent me a few pictures and it looks very nice and it is a lot cheaper than some other make up artists I had previously contacted

*You can send a picture of the wedding cake you would like and they may be able to do something like it, maybe give you a different quote. (I am very specific about what kind of cake I want so I wanted to make sure this was possible)

Now I am just waiting until the prices are released for 2014 so I can get quotes for my guests.

Good luck everyone!

Awesome! My wedding is is April 17th 2014!! I can't wait :) Can you share the make-up pictures they sent you? I was thinking about going with an outside make-up artist but I'm still trying to make a decision. I don't want to pay an additional fee to bring them to the resort. Happy wedding planning :)

Hi everyone! I've been emailing the Lindo to discuss booking for 2014 and have not heard back...did any of you experience such a delayed response? It's been exactly a week. Most resorts reply within a couple of business days! If anyone can provide the wedding coordinators name and email would be awesome! Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
