TOTAL COST OF WEDDING AT JELLYFISH PUNTA CANA

Recommended Posts

I will send you the price list Mayte sent me last week. I have done ton of research on photographers. My favorite In terms of quality/quantity of time and pictures in packages/ and affordability -Caribbean Emotions -Huellas del Caribe -Photosouvenir They all do videography as well. I love the pictures of both CE and HDC but I think HDC has more tasteful videography in terms of editing and such just based on only what I have seen. However, I want to go with photosouvenir for the trash the dress session because they have an option where they take you to a lagoon to shoot underwater!! Price range for that is steep in comparison to a regular trash the dress but the pictures are so unique! I think katya nova does this too but with her prices i'd have to limit myself too much...

Hi All! I'm new as well and messaged Mayte recently for wedding info. I have done a TON of research on this site as well as others regarding Jellyfish. Each list prices from different years. Could someone please send me the most recent price list? I'd greatly appreciate it! jbrooke.wooddell@gmail.com I also want opinions on photographer cost. I have a great photographer from home whom I'm willing to fly out.  Her cost is $1600 + flight and room. She has done a photo shoot with us before. We have mutual friends so she somewhat knows our personalities. We would have her form the entire wedding day, + the pay prior at the resort. I thinks this is a GREAT deal but the fiancé is questioning if we can find cheaper in PC. I love Katya Nova's work $2800 (starting) but this is for two photographers I think (her& her hubby). Total cost is relatively the same so here is the issue... -1 photographer vs. 2 -2photgrathers for 1 day vs. 1 photographer for a few days -More pics during the wedding vs. more candid's over the course of the trip. what would you all do??? We are also considering adding a videographer. Any suggestions of good/affordable work? I want the trailer style. Also, I have not reached out to Kayta, if any of you have used her & Rob, plz give me some insight on what is included in the $2800. Last thing, If JF is booked, I'm looking at Huracan Café as an option. Anyone look into that venue? I have seen pic from one wedding. Sry sooooo many questions. :)

Hey ladies!  I agree about cost adding up and also stressing out - although it is MUCH cheaper than getting married at home.  Can anyone explain the open bar packages to me?  Mayte sent a list with $22 "pax per hour" - doing the math that would cost over $100 per person for a night of open bar... which is more expensive than open bars here at hom!  Am I missing something?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
