Hi MayFlowers2014! Congratulations... only 11 months to go. I am getting married at Now Jade on May 30, 2014. How did you decide on the reception location and what made you choose Castaways? I picked the beach but I'm a little worried as I have not seen many pictures on beach receptions.

Hi there everyone!  I "think" I'm getting married at Now Jade on February 8th, 2014... I was told it was available and I gave her my credit card auth and all of the forms, but I have yet to hear from Pilar. Does she send something once she receives the credit auth form?  Now I'm getting worried!

I think Pilar has been pretty quick to reply via. email lately, so I am sure you'll hear back soon! Once it's confirmed she will send you a confirmation email and number, so you know you're good! Fingers crossed for you! What locations did you choose?

I hope I hear soon. I may even try to call her tomorrow so I can have some piece of mind over the weekend!

I chose the pergola deck, the mix beach bar and castaways.  I asked multiple times for photos of all the different options but she never gave me any... I just looked at different pictures from postings on this forum and made my decisions.  Hopefully it'll work out alright! 

How did everyone else pick their locations?

That's awesome! We're at the pergola and in Castaways too. We wanted the Mix Beach Bar and the Bamboo Room, but they were both already booked up on our date. Our cocktail hour will be in the orange lounge. I think it's still going to be great!

The Bamboo Room is completely indoors, and I believe it's air conditioned. Castaways is indoor/outdoor and is not air conditioned. I don't have very many photos of the Orange Lounge. There's a few in the wedding brochure that they have on the website though. These are the ones that I have saved.

Oh wow.. I definitely never saw any of these photos.  In fact, I never get got a wedding brochure! Had you been to the resort to do a site visit prior to picking Now Jade?

I like the relaxed modern feel of the orange room.  I'm not really sure what the Mixed Beach Bar looks like either- just the few photos from the online forum people have picked.
