Hi Jinele,

 

I just submitted my information to Pilar to book for April 12, 2014! I'm just waiting for my confirmation. I'm working with Wendy Hicks from Travel Wright..... SHE IS AWESOME!! She has been able to answer my ALL my questions LOL! I'm also worried about the price quotes b/c for the rooms alone the prices are TOO CRAZY! I think the airfare/room packages would be the much better bet... but I have to wait till May to get the airfare quotes included. Something else that has worried me is that there might be alot of ppl booking there for spring break & if my guests dont book right away the resort my completely be booked lol but idk if I'm just getting ahead of myself. Well hopefully I'll recieve my confirmation soon and be 100% sure that I am booked for 4/12/2014! CONGRATS!!!

Congrats to you too !! NOTE - The prices are going to be much higher that week yes, because of spring break ! Be careful! They go down the last week in April. Thats why I opted for a later date in April, the prices I received for hotel only go down starting April 26th !

Omg thanks for the heads up!! i actually did go ahead and check- but Sat April 26th was completely booked! And I really want to get married in April on a Saturday; so i decided to keep the date; my guest will just have to make that decision. Hey question, how long did it take you to get confirmed with NOW Jade. I send her the deposit and all the information via email on the 15th and the funds are still in my account and I have yet to get a response from her...

She takes a LONG time to respond, I'm actually now looking into Moon Palace resort also. They are MUCH more responsive.... which makes me second guess my decision. I Might go with Moon palace instead. They even have a 1-800 number where you can speak to someone and ask any questions you want ! So I may be switching over to them ....

Awwww I'm sorry to hear that!! I'm so in love with the resort that i hope she confirms atleast by this week. I keep debating whether or not I should just call her directly but I've heard that people have trouble getting through to her.  I would really hate to have to look for another resort after investing so much time into the research...

I understand your frustration. I have been waiting 3 weeks for a date confirmation. We have decided to go with another resort. Based on inf o from the other thread communication is horrible and I'm not willing to accept that. It's unfortunate because the resort is beautiful! They're just too busy for me. Good luck!

So I wanted to update you guys... I received an email from Pilar yesterday and after emailing her back and forth and waiting close to 2 weeks for a confirmation the locations i want are currently booked for the date I wanted. She did offer me the day before but I am very upset... Idk if i should possibly look into another resort b/c this communication issue is making me fear of whats to come...

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
