We just purchased our tumblers from Dollarama tonight that are clear for $2....and I've read somewhere that you can buy waterproof stickers (probably from Michaels)....even if they are $20 a package, you can print them yourself and save hundreds of dollars!! :)

That was the only solution I came up with when faced with the ridiculous shipping costs! Good luck.

I JUST bought 25 cups from the Dollarama (soon changing to dollar tree) for 1.25! It's in the west end of Edmonton by the super center Walmart on Stony Plain Road and 184th street I think! I'm going to order labels from Davetdesigns on Etsy.

  • 1 month later...

I got similar tumblers from the dollarama here in Calgary...but they were $2 a piece, and the straw was clear like the rest of the tumbler, rather than milky like some other dollar store tumblers I've seen.

I am also buying waterproof labels from this designer I found on Etsy:

Tons of customization allowed.  The FI is even super into it!

Just an update for you....we got our cups at Dollarama....the printable stickers did not work. We ended up going to a sign shop that does decals for cars and got them done there. They even put the stickers on the cups. Worked out amazingly! And, it only cost us $35 for 30 stickers.

Hey ladies....I, too, got my clear tumblers from Dollarama....for $2 each.  I was upsetttt when I saw that Dollar Tree has the same ones for $1.25 BUT like TRAM13 says...the straws are milky looking and not as nice...So I can live with myself for now lol...  I looked and looked high and low for print shops that do permanent waterproof stickers (thanks to SillaFeliz for the template By the way!!) and I found a place...it's downtown (Gerrard and Pape I believe) and they charged me $50 for the stickers I wanted.  They first told me i was going to get 50 stickers.  But I ended up getting 112!!!! (dunno how that happened)...they are 3"x3.25" i believe and they are perfect.  I have not yet tested them if they're waterproof yet but I stuck one on my tumbler and that thing isn't coming off! the place is called club ink.  http://www.clubink.ca/

hope this helps!!! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
