    Hi there!

We are getting married at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun in April 08 and trying to figure out where to go for a couple of days once all of our family and friends have headed home. We are looking for another all-inclusive, most likely, adults only type of place less than an hour from the Cancun area.

Any suggestions? We'll probably stay four or five nights before heading home.

    Thanks!

Hello there! We are also planning on doing a mini-moon for four or five nights after we have our wedding on Isla Mujeres. We will be staying in Tankah at a small inn.

If your heart is set on AI, Royal Hideaway Playacar is a good bet if you want to be pampered and enjoy good food. Be aware, however, that the beach there is non-existent. Or, take the boat over to Isla Mujeres and stay at Villa Rolandi. It is not AI, but the rates include breakfast + dinner, and the hotel is just gorgeous. Good luck!

Thanks! We'll definitely look into those places. We don't have our heart set on AI and will look at anything that sounds great... we just want to make as little of an effort as possible.

        Thanks again!

we stayed at the Villa Rolandi for part of our honeymoon. it was very nice and the 5 star treatment was nice but we were a bit spoiled after spending time in akumal and tulum before Isla. the beaches, serenity, people, food, etc just doesn't compare in our minds. i know lots of people love isla but it was a little too 'hectic' and developed for us after spending so much time in the akumal/tulum area. depends on what you are looking for really. we stayed at ana y jose in tulum and it was amazing although not AI.
