We finally got a reply that our requested date of May 14, 2014 is available!!! I am so excited that we finally have an answer! I cant wait to start planning wedding details! I want to hear everyone else's plans or wedding details if it already happened(congratulations!) also please post pics!

Hello all, I have been looking at Now larimar punta cana and dreams la romana, Im swaying slightly towards Now.

I have been looking at their wedding guide and Im a little confused with their prices, so if anyone could shed some light on the Now wedding prices I would greatly appreciate it.

My confusion has come from page 11 of the wedding guide 'additional wedding services' I see all items listed through out the guide states $ however on page 11 it shows  a few items, such as the fire dancers as US$. Does that mean that all the other prices are actually RD$/dominican pesos $? 

Or are all prices USD$?

 

Also on another note, can anyone shed some light on the outside vendor photography fee? I have a very close friend who is also a photographer. I have invited him to the wedding as a guest and also asked him to do the photography. Since he is also going to be a wedding guest he will be staying with us at the hotel so would the outside vendor fee apply to him to do the photography?

 

Any info on these anyone has will be greatly appreciated.

Hey ladies, I am glad your getting your confirmations for your wedding dates!! i just got mine last week and it did take them just over 2 weeks to confirm. But I am now confirmed for April 28th at 5pm!! I am sooo excited!! I am trying to finish designing my wedding invites so I can send them out soon so people can put down their deposits!! It's all starting to feel so real!! I bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal on July 6th and they called me on July 18th because it was ready for pick up!! Talk about fast!!! I hope every ones planning is going great!!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
